My favorite pins on pinterest are the funny ones. So here are a few of my favorite funnies, with some other randoms thrown in.

This is so true. I NEED this shirt.

Because this is my favorite scene in the whole movie.

I do this all of the time. Can't we just talk through pictures?

I want to say this to several people. But not to you all. Never.

You choose.

And just because I think it's hilarious...

On a totally different note, I've decided that I have got to get rid of some stuff. These beauties have been sitting in my closet, and they just aren't getting used. Therefore, they need to go. Please give them a home! All prices include shipping.

So What

So What Wednesday

So what if...
  • I fell asleep when I got home last night around 7. Then got up at 9 and went straight to bed. I'm well rested today, thank you very much.
  • I'm wearing that ever so popular polka dot shirt from Old Navy today. I absolutely love it, and if I can ever find my size in different colors, I'm snatching them up. Already been complimented once! Holla!
  • I'm trying new hair products and my hair is a little "bigger". I have to try, right? Don't you judge me...or my fro.
  • I think I would get along better with bloggers and celebrities than I do people in real life. They just seem so fun!!!
  • I'm SUPER DUPER excited about the town's arts and crafts fair this weekend. It's not your old lady get together, just in case you were wondering. They have so much cute jewelry and home decor. It is by far my favorite time of year, and I love these festivals. Welcome home, fall!

Friday Letters

Photobucket

Dear Lexington: My favorite city. Home of the Wildcats. I'm coming back to ya, baby, and I couldn't be more excited! I don't even care that I'm driving 2 hours to get there and 2 hours back, because we are going to take full advantage of being there. UK Alumni game, shopping, food....ahhhhh. And old KY players that are now in the NBA. Helllloooo John Wall and Big Cuz. Ya better be there. I can't wait!

Dear sniffles: I have a big day planned tomorrow, please don't ruin it for me. I'm sneezing, coughing (which I just spelled coffing, and then erased....oh sheesh), sore throat--let's get this cleared up soon.

Dear texters: When I send something, don't just reply with an LOL or Ha. Maybe you don't care to comment or want to talk, but don't get curious when I don't text much with you. Ya gotta give me more than an lol once in a while. K?

Dear readers: You have no idea how much I appreciate your kind and uplifting words when I'm down or stressed. I tend to post it all, not only the good, but also the bad, and you all amaze me with the well-wishes and happy thoughts. I'm human. I get down and sad and depressed. Just know that reading your comments make me feel so much better! Thank you!

That's all I've got today, kids. Happy Friday; have a fantastic weekend!

It's OK

Its Ok Thursdays

It's OK...

...that I cry over major changes/decisions in my life. It's life altering, of course I'm going to worry and fret over it.

...that I feel like I can't talk to people about it because they wouldn't understand. And I don't want to open up about this.

...that I don't understand some people. At all. Stop being so confusing.

...that I feel like I can't trust people anymore. I really should be more cautious who I open up to.

...that I'm indecisive and change my mind. I redid the colors in my living room last year, and already hate them. I love my red couch (that I have had for ages), but am so tired of red. I can't buy a new couch, so I'm looking for some different accessories (again) to go with it. Blah. A new couch would be much easier to decorate with.

...that I'm dying for a coke right now. Absolutely dying. And on that note, I think I'm going to get one from the machine.

So What Wednesday

So What Wednesday

So what if...
  • I ate cereal for breakfast and am starving to death right now. How am I supposed to wait until lunch to eat again? Starving!
  • my horoscope today said something at the very beginning about my feisty behavior. Is being feisty really that bad? Yesterday it said something about being emotional. Really...how do they know me so well?
  • I hate hate hate wearing t-shirts in public. I think they make me look like the pillsbury dough boy. They are always too big up top and in the shoulders if they fit at the bottom. It's just not a good look for me.
  • I just want to take a nap. I've not been sleeping well this week, and it is totally affecting my day. I'm tired, and sometimes that leads to being grumpy.
  • I want a Big Mac today. I blame the cereal.
  • I've been in a complete blogging funk. I need ideas people. Send me some pronto!
  • the only thing going for today is that it is hump day. Sometimes that's all I've got.
On that note, Happy Hump Day, twat waffles!

Friday Letters: Boobs, Shopping, Honey Boo Boo and Other Randoms

Dear Vicki's- I hate having to fork out the money to buy your bras, but by golly, the boobs look so much better when I wear you. The wire had come out of my other nude bra, so I was wearing a random cheapo I had found in the back of my dresser. It was not good. And I was so excited this morning that I may or may not have sent a picture of me sporting the new bra (with my clothes on, of course).  I'll never cheat on you again.

Dear Chuys- You never disappoint. Seriously, your fajita chicken burrito is amazing.

Dear Honey Boo Boo- I was addicted to the youtube video of you on Toddlers and Tiaras, even though I never watched the show. And on Wednesday, I just watched about 15 minutes of a re-run of Here Comes Honey Boo Boo before changing the channel because I was so disgusted by your mom and sisters. But goodness gracious, you are so funny. I think I may just find videos of you (alone) to keep me entertained on those boring days at work.

Dear Water- I really am trying to drink more of you. I brought a tervis with my to work yesterday, and actually drank about 5 glasses. But coke and sprite and tea are so much tastier. I'm trying though, k?

Dear electric bill- You've caused me some trouble lately. Not only have you been mucho expensive lately, but I got a call yesterday saying you hadn't been paid and my electric would be cut off today. Wha?  I checked my checkbook list thingy and it said I'd paid you...I even remember doing it online because I was complaining about how high you were (and how I'd MUCH rather be buying shoes). But, they had no record. Apparently, your payment didn't go through.  Can you say embarrassing? I dropped a check off yesterday, so I best have me some air conditioning when I get home. Capiche?

Dear Old Navy- It's been SO long since I've bought anything from  you, but this season you've outdone  yourself. I want one of everything (well most everything). Can I get some freebies? Or at least a good coupon? Something! My bank account would love you for it.

Dear weekend- So glad you are here. I plan on enjoying you to the fullest, especially since the temps will be down. Do I see fall around the corner?

Weekend Rundown

Um. How is it Tuesday already? Seriously. Where did that 3 day weekend go?

Since I know you're dying to know what I did over the little break, here we go.

I did a lot of sleeping. Hung out with the fam. Gave lots kisses to a sweet 2 month old. Had a 2 pound dog follow me around like a shadow. Tweeted and instagrammed like it was my job. And actually cooked. Again. Who am I?

And here are the photos to prove it.
Can't get enough of holding this ball of preciousness. And seriously. What's cuter than a sleeping baby?

Lounging at the parents after lunch. Lil Mia did not like being away from home. Here she is sulking because she is 1. in a dress, and 2. not in the comforts of her own home.
How sweet is this face? Who knew I could love a little one as much as I do my perfect little neice.

She finally decided to get up and socialize.

I couldn't sleep Sunday  night (due to sleeping in super late and then napping later that afternoon) so I had some fun with a photo app.

And some more fun with a photo of my sister's dog, Sadie. Have you ever seen a dog do the splits?
I was lying on the couch reading when I heard scratching at the door. I had forgotten I had let Mia outside. Oops. (And I promise it had nothing to do with the photo below!)

A dreary day at home often leads to no-good delicious things. And I blame @MandyShippe for the idea.
I started reading this book. It took forever for me to get into (like 3 days to actually focus and read the words on the page). But it's starting to get interesting. I didn't give up on it, because it's the same author that wrote Bared to You (below), and I liked it, so I kept reading.

Have you all read this one? Crazy similar to 50 Shades of Grey, but still good.

Tired of the dog pictures yet? Mia felt lazy yesterday too.

How gorgeous are these tea glasses? After looking at them, they were in every sidebar advertisement on every website I visited. It's a sign. I need them.

This is exactly how I felt this morning. Exactly.
You can tell it was a thrilling, exciting, adventurous weekend, but sometimes nothing feels amazing!

Even after typing all of this, it still feels like Monday. I was at work less than 30 minutes and spilled coffee on my shirt. I looked in the mirror while cleaning myself off, and my hair had more than doubled in size since I had left home, thanks to the damn humidity. And I honestly feel like I'm in a dream due to sleeping SO hard last night. I didn't even move, and pretty sure I still have those sleep lines on the side of my face. It's going to be one of those days. I can tell. But on the bright side, it's a 4 day week! And in the words of my favorite NY Housewife, Heather, "Holla!"

How was your Labor Day weekend? Was it as lazy and uneventful as mine, or did you do something exciting?
