Channing Tatum. Alex Pettyfer, Matthew McConaughey. See how I had good reasons to want to run to the theater?
But what I'm about to say next could get me stoned. Or hated. Or even lose a few readers. I know it's going to be shocking.
Other than seeing hottie Channing strip to his bare bum, which was niiiiiiice, and see him dance like I've never seen anyone dance before, I hated it.
There I said it.
I hated it.
Obviously, I wasn't going to see the movie for the awesome storyline. But ladies, this movie sucked.
And here are my reasons for feeling this way.
1. Alex Pettyfer is not a very good actor. Unless he's really not an idiot, and he just did an awesome job acting the part. I was expecting big things from him. Fail.
2. I'll never look at this man the same way again. I've always loved him; I mean what's not to love? But he played a freakin' loony weirdo. I know he was playing a part, but geez. It was bad. I can't believe he signed up to do this.
3. Why? Just why. Gross.
4. I think I could have done a better job acting than this chick. Did they just pick her up off the street one day and shove her into the movie? It was painful to watch. Edit: I did look her up on IMDB.com and her dad is Warner Bros. president and COO. That explains so much.
But I won't watch it again. And if you haven't seen it yet? Just google it. You can see the pictures and videos online.
