These are my confessions

It's one of my favorite link-ups. Check, check, check it out. Baby, baby, baby, baby....(catch the tune in there? What's it from?)
I confess that I was SO happy with the number of people that linked up yesterday. I was so afraid it would be a colossal flop, and I would feel like a failure. Thanks for supporting me, blog friends!

I confess that when I leave a comment on someone's post, I feel bad when they don't email me back. Yes, maybe they are super busy or had a million comments to read through, but I took time out of my day to post. Please acknowledge it. Especially if this person (i.e. ME) leaves a comment on more than just one post.

I confess that sometimes I cry at night because I feel like I have no purpose. Why am I here? I pray constantly for God to enlighten me or give me a purpose.

I confess that I crush on celebrities. Whomever is the last one I've been exposed to (whether it's on a ballgame, movie, tv show, or song), is the one I crush on for that time until I'm exposed to another one. For example, Justin Timberlake was on Ellen yesterday, so I'm finding him super duper hot, funny, handsome,  witty, hot at the moment. It's like they are on rotation in my heart or something.

That's all. What are you confessing today?

Favorite Things Thursday Premier

Hello, loves! I'm so excited to introduce a link-up called Favorite Things Thursday! I've been wanting to do this for a few weeks, and just now worked up the nerve. Please link up and encourage your readers to do so also!!
The premise is that I will give you a topic, and you share with your readers your favorite of that topic. (Like your favorite movie, or shirt, or room, etc.) Post a picture and a description. Then, link up with me (by adding this button to your blog for those that aren't sure what that means.) Code for the button is on the right margin.

Week 1
Show us your favorite book!

My favorite book ever, and I think I've shared this before, is Suzanne's Diary for Nicholas by James Patterson.

I've read this book multiple times, and I cry every single time. It is full of detail, and is just an awesome romance story (my favorites!). If you love a good chick-lit book that tugs at the heartstrings, pick this up! And make sure you grab some tissues too!

What is your favorite book?
Don't forget to link up and come back next Thursday!

Wednesday, April 27, 2011

Hey, loves! Tomorrow is my very first link up. Please come back tomorrow and link up with Favorite Things Thursday!

Otherwise, I may sob like a baby. It's true. I'll feel like a total loser. So let's save us all some whining, because I will totally get on here and whine, and just link up. K? Thanks! :)

(All of that was a little exaggerated. A little.)

We Want to Know Wednesday

PLEASE VOTE ---------->
Before I begin, does anyone have problems with Picasa? I find that when uploading pictures to my blog, saving them to picasa first is quickest. But it freezes so often, it's a headache. How do you do it?
Now on to the fun stuff! (minus some pictures due to above issues.)
This is my first time linking up with We Want to Know with Seriously Shawn, Mamarazzi, Janette and Impulsive Addict.

{1} What is the first thing you notice about the opposite sex? Are you an eyes or a smile person? Maybe another body part? The first thing I notice is what they are wearing. I do this with everyone! I also notice their smile/teeth, but the eyes usually draw me in. My favorite part though? Shoulders. Muscular shoulders.....

{2} If a movie was being made about you who would you like to see cast to play you? And would your movie be a comedy, drama, romantic-comedy, action film or a horror movie? This is a good question! Who would play me? I would like to say someone fabulous, but c'mon...I look nothing l ike anyone out there! It would be fun for someone like Kate Beckinsale or Mila Kunis to play me, but in reality, I'm probably more like the large chick from Hairspray.  My movie would probably be a comedy, because frankly, I think I'm funny. Or I have funny moments, at least. In all honesty, it would probably be a drama.

{3} Does your high school yearbook include a senior comment section? If so share what you said about your future goals. Have you met those goals? If you do not have a yearbook just share what your goals where when you were 18 and if you have met them. If you’re brave enough include your Senior Picture! I remember putting on my paper that I wanted to go to a university and major in business. I did go to WKU, but became an English major. I thought for sure that I would be married with kids before I was 22. Fail. I'm in my late twenties, not married, and can't even think of kids right now. Doesn't life surprise you! I heard the quote "You plan, God laughs." So true!

{4} What latest trend simply baffles you? Skinny jeans. Especially with flip flops, tennis/athletic shoes/anything other than boots. They are not flattering, and look skanky on most people. You basically have to be a size 2 and 6 foot tall to pull them off, IF paired with the right thing. (No one around here knows how to wear them.)

{5} When you walk into a room how do you present yourself? Do you walk in with confidence and command the attention of others or do you slink in and do your best to go unnoticed? I walk in hoping to go unnoticed. I hate that moment when you walk in and everyone is staring. Hate it.

Possible Link-Up. Interested?

I absolutely love Link-Up days. I think it is an awesome way to get to know other bloggers while sharing information about yourself. AND, it really helps if you are stuck for a topic idea.

I've been pondering this for awhile; I just really wanted to host! I'm just afraid I wouldn't have anyone to link up, and then I would feel like a total loser!

So two things. Would you link up if I hosted? The idea is to share your favorite.....(blank). I give a topic, and you share your favorite/least favorite. It could be a room, a book, a store, a recipe, etc.

Second, if people do seem interested, I would  need a name. I would like to do it on a Monday or Thursday, so we could incorporate that or just the topic. Send me some ideas for titles/names.

Thanks so much, readers. I know compared to many bloggers, I don't have a lot, but I appreciate every single one of you!

Ten on Tuesday

Good morning! I honestly don't know how I made it to work this morning. We had another round of storms in the middle of the night that actually woke me up. I have to admit, I never get scared of storms, but I was a little afraid last night. The wind was horrible. So after falling back to sleep, I was in the deepest. sleep. ever. I think I hit snooze about four different times. Nonetheless, I am here this morning, but not so bright eyed.

I'm linking up for Ten on Tuesday today. Head over and link up too!

1. How many blogs do you read every day and what are they? (I’m talking the ones you NEVER miss.) I honestly have tons that I keep up with daily, thanks to that blog thing on dashboard. I do have my favorites, but I read them all.

2. How many “best friends” do you have? Do you have different “besties” for different areas of your life? I have two. I have a weird thing about best friends. They usually change every few years, which makes me believe they were just good friends. I don't know. However, I have two friends at the moment that I can call upon for anything, and know they would be there for me in a heartbeat.

3. What’s your daily make up routine? Foundation, blush, eye shadow, eye liner, mascara, and lipstick in the morning. At night, I clean my face, then moisturize.

4. What is your ideal girl’s night? Dinner, a movie or show, then our usual stalking. (Long story, but funny.)

5. Do you keep up with your nails/toenails or are they au natural? Toe nails are always painted. I have a thing about unpainted toe nails. I think it is gross! I don't know why. I love having my fingernails painted, but they chip so quickly that I rarely keep them painted.

6. What’s your best roommate story (assuming you had a roommate at some point in your life)? I never had a roommate. I lived with my parents until I graduated college, then moved into an apartment by myself. My sister moved in with me for a little over a year, but I lived with her my entire life, so I don't consider her to be a roommate.

7. What’s your “go to” outfit that you wear more than anything else? I always have on jeans and a top. Always. If I differ from that, something is going on.

8. Do you have a beauty secret? No. I wish I did, I need some oomph! But I've always always heard that the biggest thing is to remove your makeup before you go to bed. I never did that, but have recently gotten into the habit. Hopefully it will help!

9. Did you read Seventeen magazine growing up? Yes! I'm a huge magazine reader, and I think I read every teen magazine they printed.

10. How did you learn to put on makeup?  Like most girls, my mom taught me. I became a Mary Kay consultant after college, and my director showed me a lot of tricks that I still use.

What a weekend! Just a warning- it hasn't been exciting in the least bit. (But I'll try to inject some of witty comments in here so you won't be bored!)
I woke up sick Friday morning. Major headache. Nauseous. Couldn't keep food or beverage down. Even sprite and crackers. But I still managed to have a great night. You heard all about my girls night on Friday from my happy list post yesterday. Super fun. Yay!

I woke up Saturday still feeling crappy. I put up my new curtains (I love them!!!), then met a friend to see Water for Elephants. ::sigh:: Have I mentioned how much I LUHVE Robert Pattinson? If you can't remember, let me tell ya, I LOVE ROBERT PATTINSON! Such a good actor. And a hottie. I just love his eyes. His intensity. Yumm...
This is love.

Anyway, what were we talking about? Oh...the movie. Yes. The movie was great! I was a little nervous, because I never like a movie after I've read the book. But this movie was so good, despite being a little different. Great story! Go see it, people!

After the movie, I came home because my head and stomach were getting worse. I figured a good nap was called for. Afterall, the weather was crappy (rain and storms for what seems like the 50th day in a row...). After a two hour snooze, I woke up to an even bigger headache. And was wide awake all night long. I even went to the basement when the COWS alarm went off at 1 am.

I woke up Sunday morning and got ready for church. It was Easter, and despite still being sick, I had a lot to be thankful for and a lot of praising to do.
Easter morning!

I went to my "home" church (more on that some other time), came home and napped yet again. I visited with my Nanny and Dad that afternoon, and came home to the couch for the second day in a row. I guess napping ruins me, because I couldn't sleep very well again. After a sleeping pill finally kicked in, I was out! It was rough rolling out of bed this morning. I'm Ex-haust-ed! Completely.

Here's hoping I feel better and can eat a real meal very soon. It's also Monday, which tends to be pretty hectic, so let's slow down and enjoy the week (even if it is going to rain every. single. day.)

How was your weekend?

Happy lists are good for the soul.

Link up with the Mamarazzi to post your happy list. It's fun and good for the soul. (wow...that was deep.)

Item #1- Girls nights

Picture from last summer with the gang; Meg, me, Katie, Whitney.
Last night was girls night. We started out with dinner. Then pedicures. A little more hanging out here and there. Lot's of gossip and talking. I think we annoyed everyone in the nail salon. Oh well, we have fun conversations so I'm going to consider it free entertainment for them. :)

Item #2- WFE today!

I mean, if you haven't noticed from some other blog posts, even yesterdays, I'm super, crazy, mad, totally excited to see this movie. RPatt is just dreamy, and I can't wait to see him with my girl, Reese. So, I made plans to see this with a friend. 12:45. You can't get here soon enough!

Item #3- Curtains
I ordered some curtains a few days ago for my bedroom. You may remember that I'm redecorating it. It's taken me a few weeks to get everything together, and I still don't have everything ready. I will definitely post pics when it's finished though. Anywho- after looking at every single curtain section in every single store I went to, and perusing the internet for hours on end, I finally found some curtains I love. I just have to get those wrinkles out (huge pet peeve for things that are wrinkly) and hang those babies!

Item #4- Easter

Easter is tomorrow and it just warms my heart to see so many people posting on their blogs about the true meaning of Easter. Yes, bunnies and candy are fun, but if it weren't for Jesus dying for our sins and His resurrection, we would not have the life we do...or our afterlife in Heaven. Praise Him and remember this day for what it truly represents!

What are you happy for this weekend? Let me know!

Friday Confessional

It's that time of the week. Do it to it, peoples. Here's the link!

I confess that I am a spending fool. No, I don't need those shoes, or top, or purse, but by golly I want them. So I buy them. Then wonder why I only have $24 $18 dollars in savings. If I have an extra buck, it's gone.

I confess that with said spending habits, I bought a Nook after Christmas. I used some of the Christmas money I had received, so I thought that was a good excuse. I've read maybe three books on it since I bought it. I love it. I do. But I go through habits where I read nonstop, then have no interest in reading for weeks. I need to put that $250 to use, yo!

I confess that I have tons of things to do in my yard, but as I referenced in last week's confessions, I hate getting dirty, so they are still undone. Pile of leaves in corner of the driveway since fall? Still there. Flower bed undone? Still there. Crappy back basement door leading to nowhere? Still crappy. I need a handyman....I'm thinking Gabby's hot gardener like on Desperate Housewives would do the trick. (Remember him from several seasons ago? Ay chi chi!)

I confess that I ramble; as if you haven't noticed. I just start typing and my fingers keep going and the energizer bunny. But it's my blog and my confessions can be over one (heck, even two) sentences long, right?

Finally- I confess that I am super, crazy, mad excited about Water for Elephants coming out tonight. I have plans to see it with a friend tomorrow, and I don't know if I can stand to wait until then to see ole hottie mac tottie, Rob, and sweet, "i wish she was my friend in real life" Reese. It better live up to the books.

What are you confessing this week? Spill it.

What is wrong with our world?

I realize this is my second post of the day, but my heart is feeling heavy. After reading a news site, and seeing more horrible, heart-breaking stories, I just had to post and get this off my chest. I warn you that it may be lengthy, but please read on.

I'll begin with the one closest to home. I don't think this has been on national news, but it has rocked our community to its core. It's the story of Jamie Stice. She was a 20 year old pregnant young lady. She didn't have an easy life, from what I can tell, but she had just graduated high school and was excited to become a mom to her baby, Isaiah. A 33 year old, Cox, befriended Stice on facebook and picked her up last week to help her buy baby clothes. Stice never returned.

Cox took the baby to the local hospital saying she'd just given birth to the baby. Doctors became suspicious when Cox had no evidence of giving birth to a child. The baby also had the umbilical cord still attached with the uteres and placenta attached. After questioning, Cox led investigators to a community about 15 minutes from my  home to find the body of Stice. She had been stunned with a stun gun, her throat and wrists slit, and the baby had been cut out of her belly.

Police later found out that Cox had asked her 13 year old if he/she would help with a kidnapping. After the child said no, the mom played it off as a joke. Cox also asked the 15 year old if they would help with a murder. Again, it was played off as a joke after the child's answer was no. Cox had been telling family and friends that she was pregnant with a child.

I'm sure this reads like a piece of fiction, but I promise you it is real and occurred only 30 minutes away from my  home. You can read more details here.

I've seen other stories this week of kidnappings and murders. Last week, a nursing student went missing in Tennessee. Her brother saw her being led into the woods across from their house by a man he thought was her boyfriend. She is still missing.

Earlier this week it was reported that two 8th graders from Minnesota committed double suicide at a slumber party. They had been bullied at school, and they decided to hang themselves at their sleepover one night. They left notes for the parents explaining they couldn't handle the bullying anymore. Story found here.

And just today, it was reported that a 15 year old in Florida was lured into a  home by fellow students and an ex-girlfriend. Upon entering the home, other teens beat him in the head, shot him to death, then burned him in a fire outside the home. Story found here.

My family suffered a tragedy just last year. I know just how hard it is to be thrown in the middle of a nightmare.

I am dumbfounded by the amount of horrific crimes that are occurring around the nation. Maybe I'm just young and don't remember paying attention to the news, but it just seems like more and more evil things are happening. Where is the common sense and consciences of these individuals that have no compassion for other's lives. It breaks my heart. It confuses me beyond belief. What are these people thinking? I pray for the lives that have been lost. I pray for the families that are grieving. I pray for our nation and mankind.

AI Recap

If you don't watch AI, then I apologize. This post will bore you to tears. However, I was so entranced last night by the show. They have such a talented and diverse group of singers. Not one contestant is like another. So here is my  breakdown of how the night went.

1- Scotty
He is absolutely the cutest, sweetest, most precious kid on that stage. He makes me laugh, and is just a sweetheart. Too bad he's like ten years younger than me!
All photos in this post are from here.

He sang "Swingin" last night, and did a great job. I thought it was a little boring though. We are getting closer to the finale and contestants need to step it up. Much like the judges said, he played it safe. Love him though.

2- James Durbin

James sang a song "Uprising" by Muse and he killed it. He is so theatrical and is such a great performer! Whether he wins or loses, I think James will be successful in music.

3- Haley Reinhart
Haley is definitely talented, but something about her just gets on my nerves. Maybe it's because she reminds me of a former student. I just don't know what it is.
She sang Adele's "Rolling in the Deep" and did an amazing job. It would be hard to sing a song like Adele, but this gal did it. Great song and great job.

4- Jacob Lusk
There is something about this kids voice that is like nails on a chalkboard. It sounds nasaly or like he has a severe cold or something.

He sang "Dance with my Father". You could tell that it was an emotional song, which I liked. But again, I don't see how this kid is still around. Sorry, Jacob fans!

5-Casey Abrams
What is so great about this guy? He is a little funny. Entertaining? Maybe. But I don't think he is that talented vocally.

Maroon 5's "Harder to Breathe" was Casey's pick, and it was ok. Was it enough for Steven Tyler to go on a cursing rampage because he loved it so much? Nope.

6- Stefano Langone
He's a hottie machottie! I love his smile and his cockiness. But I just don't think he's one of the best singers.

He sang Ne-Yo's Closer, and yes, I think he did a good job. I loved seeing him dance around on the stage to make it more of a performance, but I think it's time for him to go. He's been around longer than he should have been.

7-Last, but certainly not least- Lauren Alaina
I've liked this southern chick from the beginning. Maybe it's because she is southern and seems like someone I would so get along with. Anywho-this gal has what it takes to win the whole shebang!

She sang Sara Evans (whom I absolutely love) "Born to Fly." I hate to even say this, but I thought it was just so-so. Lauren can do SO much better than just so-so. She has the talent, the voice, all of it. Let it out, girl. Show America what you can do!!!

What did you think of last night's show?

This is a cross between What I'm Loving and What I'm Wanting because I love it! Link up and join the party!!

Item #1-- The South Plaque
I saw this picture at a local shop a few weeks ago, but it was gi-normous! I had  nowhere to  put the mammoth of the thing. After visiting another local shop on my lunch yesterday, I found it again and it was a much smaller version. If you are from the south, you will enjoy it. If you aren't from the south, then read it and learn about it!

And just in case you are having trouble reading the picture, it says:

The place where...1. Tea is sweet and accents are sweeter. 2. Summer starts in April. 3. Macaroni and cheese is a vegetable. 4. Front porches are wide and words are long. 5. Pecan pie is a staple. 6. Ya'll is the only proper noun. 7. Chicken is fried and biscuits come with gravy. 8. Everything is Darlin'. 9. Someone's heart is always being blessed.

Item #2 &3--Tory Burch
If only money weren't an issue, I would have this handbag and pair of flats in a heartbeat. They are so classic.

Top 2 Things I Collect

Top 2 Things You Collect

1. Shot Glasses
Every time I visit somewhere new (a new city, fun place, show, etc.) I grab a shot glass. They are small, inexpensive, and easy to show off. At my last count, I had 47, but I think I've bought a few since then.

2. Movies

I just thought it was common for people to buy movies that they liked. However, after friends see my collection, they comment on how many I have. I just like having them in case I want to watch them again. This picture is of most of them. Some are in the living room and my bedroom, and some have been borrowed by friends.

What do you collect?

Monday, April 18, 2011

It's Monday, folks.

I hate how I blink on Friday afternoon and it is already Monday morning. What is up with that? I actually posted last night, which is odd...It may  have been my first Sunday you know how my weekend went. So for today, it will be a bunch of randomness. Please bear with me.

Ya know those two pairs of Gap jeans I bought? Well I did wear them last night. And I put them on this morning....don't judge me! They are loose and unflattering. I don't think I could have gone down a size, but I'm not super happy with the way they are fitting. Darn it. I felt good about them the first time I put them on too. Do you think they will fit better after a washing?

I am Ex-Aust-Ed! (Yes, I know I spelled that wrong. I did that for effect!) I couldn't sleep last night, which is odd because I didn't nap at all this weekend. And it was a full weekend, so I'm not sure what was up with not sleeping. It's supposed to storm tonight, so maybe I can head home after work and do my usual when I'm tired: put on some jammies, turn off all the lights, and curl up in my comfy bed. Aaaahhhh.

Reese Witherspoon was on GMA this morning. My ole crush, Robbie Pattinson, was on Regis & Kelly. I love them both and seeing them means that Water for Elephants  is just that much closer. WoO-hOo! Dont those two just have the best personalities ever? I can so see hanging with each of them. ::sigh::

So, if you are a regular follower, you must have noticed that I change my background like every week. I told ya I'm indecisive. I love the chevron pattern, and my new fave colors are gray and yellow. I just love it! (I got it from here). However, the header is NOT centered and it is driving me absolutely bonkers! Anyone out there....please help me!!

Also, does anyone else have problems with blogger showing your followers. Most of the time, I can't see who is following. Boo! Is it just me?

How's your Monday?

Retail Therapy

Can I just say, I don't think I have ever shopped more in one day than I did yesterday! I mentioned on Friday that it had been a rough week, and I needed some retail therapy to cheer me up. That it did. I picked up Whitney at 8:30, then Meg at 9, and we were off to Lebanon to go to the Premium Outlets. They have the best Gap Outlet ever. Seriously.
2 cardigans, 2 jeans, red flip flops, white flip flops, and my all time favorite wedges ever!

Also found this cute top at Eddie Bauer.
Loved it so much, I wore it today...with my new jeans and white flip flops.

After a few hours there, we drove 40 minutes to the Mall at Green Hills. After a right turn instead of a left, thanks to another wrong Mapquest direction, we finally ended up at the mall.

Time for some Cheesecake Factory! (My first trip everrrr!)
Chilly, rainy, and humid day. Apologies for the horrid hair day!

Whit and Meg

It was delicious! Everything was, but especially the cheesecake!

Godiva chocolate cheesecake. And yes, that is milk. I have to have milk when I eat rich chocolate stuff!
Meg's Dutch Apple Cheesecake

Whitney's Red Velvet Cheesecake

Then we got our shop on. Again. This mall is a little above my price range (basically I was done after my luck at the Gap.) However, I insisted on going in Sephora to get this. I've been without it for about 6 months and have missed it so much! It's my absolute favorite ever!

Philosophy's Unconditional Love

After a few hours at this mall, we drove about 15 minutes to Rivergate, then to a few shops around that area.
Owl mug from Pier 1. I have a sudden love for all things owl, so I had to get this!
Back scrubber thingy from Pier 1. Cute, huh?

I love a soft crew neck sweatshirt for chilly nights.

Finally, after over 10 hours of shopping, 3 malls, several u-turns and other various shops, we were homeward bound! Needless to say, I was exhausted! I had such a great day! :)

After visiting Meg and Kyle's church this morning, we made a quick trip to BG to return some things. I made a pit stop at Kohls and got these shoes.

How cute will they look with a tan and shorts this summer? Love.

I also grabbed some headgear for Lou-Lou, my front porch dog (who used to be Ralphie, but decided she was a girl). She has to be accessorized for the holidays.

Addison trying on the ears.

Lou-Lou with her new ears!
And finally, I grabbed this rug to go with the green chairs I bought a few weeks ago.
Rug from Kirklands

Ignore the neighbors house in the background, but aren't the chairs and rug cute?

What do you think of my 'therapy' purchases? I love every single one!
How was your weekend?

Confession is good for the soul.

Can I just say, TGIF. I think it needs a repeat....TGIF. It has been one heck of a week, and I'm so glad the weekend is finally here! Halle-freakin-lujah! And since it is Friday, you  know where I am. Linking up to Mamarazzi's Friday Confessional!

I confess that I am not made for outside work. I worked on a flower bed yesterday and hated every minute. I hate getting dirty, I hate getting hot, I hate sweat. Blech!

I confess that people that want stuff for free annoys me. Yes, free stuff is awesome. If you are offered, take it. But do NOT, I repeat, do NOT, ask for least from me anyway. It makes me want to do the opposite. It's rude, people!

I confess that I have been a complete beyotch lately. Major pms and annoying people equals this gal being frustrated. Apologies, ya'll.

I confess that I have been obsessed with finishing my bedroom. I've redecorated, and that's all I can think about until it is complete. I bought some awesome prints off etsy this week to hang up. I can't wait until they come in and I can share them with you! I still need curtains and rugs, but those will come. I'm just impatient.

I confess that I usually have one or two skank days a week. However, this week, I've put a little effort into what I'm wearing. And it feels good.

Finally, I confess that I have no crazy plans for this weekend, and I'm a little sad about it. I am planning on hitting up the outlet mall in Lebanon, TN tomorrow, so that's exciting. Woo-hoo!

What are your confessions this week?

85th birthday, rounding the bases, & American Idol

Yesterday was my sweet Nanny's 85th birthday!

My sister and I were invited to my Dad's for her birthday dinner. After we ate, it was time for American Idol. Of course we watched! I don't think Nanny was very impressed. (Let me preface by saying that my Nanny is quite the character. She has comments for everything, and will let you know what she thinks. We always get a good laugh from her.)  Steven Tyler was introduced and she had a field day talking about his wild outfit and crazy hair. While each one was singing, she would look at us and whisper, "They can't sing" while rolling her eyes.

Ready for the funny part?

One sweet Paul was singing and Nanny looked at me and said, "He wouldn't get past first base!"  Bahahahahhaha

Now I know she meant that he would be out before getting there.....a baseball reference. However, I being the perverted twenty-something that I am took it another way. I was rolling. I shared with my sister, and she laughed. We brought this up the rest of the night and was crying from laughing so hard.

Maybe you all think it's not funny at all. Maybe you just had to be there. But, I thought it was the funniest quote of the night.

Happy birthday, Nanny! Hope you had a great one!

So What Wednesday

This is my first time to link up with So What Wednesday...but I'm feeling like a 'so what' kind of day! Head over to Life After I Dew if you want to participate!

So what if I change  my mind about every thing all the freakin' time. I'm not married to my car, or my decor, or my shoes, so I can change it if I want.

So what if I want to have a drink now and then. I don't do it every weekend, heck I don't even do it every month. I can have fun with or without one. But if I decide I want one, or two, or three every once in awhile, I will.

So what if I go shopping in BG every weekend. (BG is the larger town 30 minutes away from my small-town home.) I usually hit up the same places and sometimes come back with nothing, but it gives me something to do.

So what if the things I want to do are out of my reach. I can always dream about being a costume designer on One Tree Hill or a high-end real estate agent in a big city.

Top 2 Tuesday

I love linking up, so here is Top 2 Tuesday!

Top 2 Drinks

#1- McDonald's Coke
I love it. I could drink it all day, everyday. It's totally different than regular coke. Yummmmm.

#2- Peach Iced Tee
Ohmygosh. Delish!! Iced tea with peach syrup is the best. thing. ever. For real!!
